Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah, the founder of Hyderabad, built Charminar in 1591 at the center of the original city layout. This magnificent edifice is the unique symbol of Hyderabad. Four Graceful minarets soar to a height of 48.7m above the ground. Charminar has prayer spaces and mosque in it. Visitors can view the architectural splendor inside the Charminar.
